ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
ACLS Summary
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. This course also covers airway management and related pharmacology.
ACLS skills are taught in large group sessions and small group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.
Students will receive an ACLS provider card after successful completion of the course. Provider cards are good for 2 years.
ACLS Pre-course Requirements
- ACLS Provider Manual or e-book
- BLS knowledge and skills
- AED skills
- Complete the Pre-Course Self-Assessment (Print score/certificate, and bring it with you to class. Must make ≥70% to pass. You can take it as many times as needed).
- Bring Part 1 Heartcode® ACLS Certificate of Completion to class (Required for Skill Session only).
ACLS Provider/Initial Course
Cost: $205/person. Approximately 4-6 in length, including breaks. Successful completion of learning objectives will determine length of class.
ACLS Renewal Course
Cost: $155/person. Must present unexpired card on day of class. Approximately 3-4 hours, including breaks. Successful completion of learning objectives will determine length of class.
ACLS Skills Course
Cost: $105/person. Approximately 1 hour in length. Must bring Part 1 Heartcode® ACLS ($132) Certificate of Completion to class.
